Particulate Matter with aerodynamic diameter Less than 10um (PM10) and 2.5um(PM2.5)aerosol samples were collected at zhengzhou May 2006.The quantity contained of PM 2.5 in PM10 and Tsp have be measured;SO2 and NOx have been measure too.Along with the hight elevates, the concentration of SO2 increase whill The concentration of PM10 and PM2.5 decreases. The concentration of NOx has nothing to do with the hight.The concentrations of 25 elements including Ag,Al,As,Ba,Be,Ca,Cd,Co,Cu,Fe,K,Mg,Mn,Mo,Na,Ni,Pb,Sb,Se,Sn,Sr,Ti,Tl,V and Zn were determined by means of ICP-AES. The height variations were discussed.The phase of samples has been analyzes by means of XRD. The results show across the calcium crystals are the main, most are crystal crust itself.The crystal phase with the location and height of no significant relationship.Sources of elements were identified by calculating the enrichment factors relative to Al (EFAl) and by correlation analysis. Anthropogenic sources and natural sources have been separated. Cd, As, Pb was found anthropogenic emissions at the scene.Using factor analysis of elements sources in the initial source apportionment of its classified as Category 5.This right to trace sources of pollution provide important reference.
