With the background of a dentifrice R&D flexible manufacturing system for P&G Corp, the key point on designing an automatic manufacturing system is studied in this dissertation, including: general design of the system, the creation of precision measuring model of powder liked material, control arithmetic studying, implement of plant automatic control.The primary matters are as follows:(1) This dissertation analyses the differences between R&D manufacturing and batch manufacturing. The difficulties of the implement of automatic control are pointed out and related key technology is described.(2) The overall design scheme and the sub-systems design scheme are given. The detailed requirements of sub-systems are analyzed.(3) Material storage scheme is designed while the flowing model of powder liked material if analyzed. The model describing the measuring procedure is studied and measuring control arithmetic is designed based on it.(4) The design and experiment validate of conveying system, washing system, antisepsis system are described. The controlling scheme of this system is also described.Based on all the theoretic and technical studies above, this dissertation develops an automatic batch flexible manufacturing system for job shop. It is meaningful for the equipment manufacturing and theoretic research of chemistry R&D process.
