The technique of Rapid Prototyping Manufacture is an important developing direction of manufacturing industry, and it is also the front manufacture technique researched by university, development facility and enterprise. American is in leading position in this field, and other country also acquired substantial achievement such as Japan, China and some country in Europe. Nowadays, the cost of Rapid Prototyping Technique mainly used by big enterprise because of high cost, so the hot topic in research mainly concentrates in reducing cost, developing new energy, material and craft, so that can speed up the promoting process of Rapid Prototyping Technique. Under the circumstance, the key point in this project is to find a low cost and practical Rapid Prototyping Technique to reduce the production cost.The Rapid Prototyping Technique researched by this project has much superiority such as lower cost, environmental protection, degradation easily compared with the other Rapid Prototyping Technique because the technique uses mixture of wooden and additive as its raw material. The Rapid Prototyping Technique adopts the suitable craft made the production has the suitable intensity as concept prototype, function test prototype, mold and function components so that can substitution the existing plastic and resin model in some degree. In addition, because it has some characteristic of lumber, it can be used in some specific situation and meet some special user's need, such as the complex modeling woodcarving handicraft could realize fast automatic processing by this technique which only can processing by hand in the past.This article mainly introduced mixture experiment and corresponding machine design. The part of mixture prototyping experiment takes the mixture prototyping as the core, and designed technical process of mixture prototyping by means of experiment, and the part of machine design takes the structural design as the core; this article has given the concrete technical process of Rapid Prototyping Technique based on mixture, designed schematic diagram, structure drawing and part drawing of rapid prototyping machine, introduced concrete process and plan of mixture prototyping experiment in detail, and solved some other questions such as designing process and concrete part choice of rapid prototyping machine.
