| This thesis aims to study the bentonite used as catalyst carrier for Friedel-Craftsacylation. This thesis is mainly divided into three parts:The first part stated the catalyst bentonite-supported polytrifluromethanesulfosil-oxane (B-PTFMSS) used as cataltst for Friedel-Crafts acylation of ethylferrocene. Itwas found that B-PTFMSS can effectively catalyse the acylation of ethylferrocenewith the good catalyst selectivity, the reaction product of 1'-acyl ethylferrocene inthe selectivity of 93ï¼….The second part stated the catalyst of ZnCl2/bentonite and used as cataltst forFriedel-Crafts acylation of ferrocene. Fristly, purification and acidification onbentonite have been taken up, acidic treatment condition have been explored. It alsosuggested that the catalytic activity have been obtained only by sufficiently acid treat.Secondly, the loading of ZnCl2 was studied, which suggested that enough amounts ofacid centers can't be formed if loading is too low, neither is activity. But theover-loading of ZnCl2 would make pores blocked and specific surface areas decrease,which made dispersity of ZnCl2 loading on support decrease, and led to lowercatalytic activity. Finally activation of catalysts have been stuied, and it was suggested that these was a best calcinations temperature. The ZnCl2/bentonite used ascatalyst for Friedel-Crafts acylation of ferrocene is very well. Mainly investigated torespond temperature and melting agent and respond time, the catalyst dosage'sinfluence to reaction, and studied stable function and rebirth of catalyst to make useof sex.The third part stated the relations of structure and property. The catalysts havebeen characterized by XRD, DTA-TG, specific surface area, pyridine adsorbed IR andSME.The two catalysts have promising future of application in the acylation ofFriedel-Crafts acylation.
