Multifunctional UV curing resin was successfully synthesized by the solvent polymerization method. The resin which was synthesized by the materials of hydroxy silicone oil, 1, 6-hexamethylene diisocyanate, tolylene diisocyanate, pentaerythritol triarylate and 2-hydroxy ethyl acrylate is able to cure rapidly at room temperature by UV. After UV curing, we can obtain curing films which have multi-properties such as flexility, enduring grind, higher adhesion, aging resistance, higher intension, weather resistance and excellent optics properties. We investigate the reaction mechanism of the resin and the product thus obtained was characterized by FT-IR. The micro-gels were produced by the tri-vinyl groups in pentaerythritol triarylate (PETA), and played an important role of the cross-linking density, the gel contents, and mechanical properties of SPU films. The cross-linking density, gel content and mechanical properties were investigated by the dynamic mechanical thermal analysis (DMTA), extraction and stress-strain experiments, respectively. Compared with single functional group curing films, the cross-linking density and tensile strength of tri-functional groups curing films were increased effectively. The multifunctional UV curing films have obtained better integrative properties because of micro-gel appearing.
