With the development of economy and increasing of the population in the cities of china, production of MSW increased so rapidly that optimum disposal methods of MSW aroused the attention of related department, especially in big cities. This research analyzes the factors related to MSW production through characteristics of it, and come to a conclusion that the production of MSW is associated with population, income, consume level and energy consuming.Although treatment methods, including landfilling, incineration, composing improved swiftly, single method can't meet the development of the city and the standard of the environment. Various methods should be synthesized, and mathematics models should be established based on optimizing collection channel and waste flow to meet the demand of social economy developing and the environment. This research presents a multi-objective optimization model for MSW under uncertainty. The model minimizes the overall solid waste management system cost and the environmental impact as its main objectives, applying pollution loss theory to evaluate the environmental impact, and then combine the second objective with the first one to make it more universal. Meanwhile, adding reasonable constrains as available supplement of the mode. At first, this model is applied to the city of Fo Shan, and the optimization result indicates that: compare with the former project, this model could reduce system cost for 8-18ï¿¥/t, and it economize 28millionï¿¥/a. The conclusion from application to Fo Shan proved that this model is valuable, and could be generalized to other cities. Secondly, the model was applicated to Shen Zhen, the result showed that the cost per ton MSW is lower than it in Fo Shan, and come to a conclusion that the cost is associated with technic improving and traferstaion cost.Form both the two cases, system cost decreased gradually from 2006 to 2020, it is arised by the proratation of various methods. The strategic station of some treatment method, including incineration and recycle, should be enhanced to meet the demand of the society, which is short of resources, and is declared "a society of saving resources".From analyzing Dual Price of constrains, we infer that, production of MSW, waste to be recycled, capacity of the disposal plant are the main factors which could impact the cost of the MSW management. Point on the factors above, comprehensively processing technology was put forward to solve all the factors. On the one hand, categorised collection, compressed transferstation, optimization model should be applied to minimize management cost and the impact on the environment; on the other hand, comprehensively processing technology, which could achieve the objectives of hazard-free treatment, reducing quantity and reclamation.
