Synthesis And Characterization Of Benzimidazole Derivatives And Metallic Complex

Benzimidazole is a heterocyclic compound which contains two nitrogen atoms. Its some metal cooperates have activity such as sterilization, anticancer. Their copper and zinc complex have special catalysis properties, and have important function in simulation of metal enzyme too. Because of its structural characteristic, physiological activity, response activity and other fine characteristics, benzimidazole and their derivative synthetic and application study never disconnected these decades, but also still activity so far. In this thesis we initiated the studies of synthesis of benzimidazole polydentate ligands, preparation of metallic complexes. A series of significant results and developments have been achived and the main interesting results are as fellows:1. 1, 2-phenylenediamine reacted with ester to give a series of 2-substituted benzimidazole compound under the function of the microwave. Besides characterizing their structures by IR, 1HNMR, Ms, etc.2. Some benzimidazole-chalcone which have biological activity have been synthesized from a series of reaction such as condensation reaction, oxidation reaction etc, and on this basis pyrimidines and their complexes have been synthesisd. Besides characterizing their structures by IR, UV, ~1HNMR, etc.3. A series of 1, 5 - two carbonyl compound have been synthesized from 2 - acetyl benzimidazole and pyridine aldehyde, meanwhile, we got a 1,2,3,4,5-pentasubstituted cyclohexanols which synthesized by a series of Michael addition between the 2 - acetyl benzimidazole and pyridine aldehyde, and has carried on research to reaction mechanism. In this thesis some poly-substituted pyridine have been syntheisized through the Hantzsch [5+1] type. Besides characterizing their structures by IR, ~1HNMR, etc., and the single crystal structure of one 1, 5 - two carbonyl compound was determined by X-Ray diffraction method.4. From the compound ofα,β- unsaturated ketone, pyridine salt in the mixture of ammonia acetic acid and glacial acetic acid, we got a series of poly-substituted pyridine through the Kr?hnke type reaction under the function of microwave, and we have studied the coordination of representative compound with metal ion and reacted. All their structures were characterized by IR, UV, ~1HNMR, etc, and the single crystal structure of complex was determined by X-Ray diffraction method.
