At the same time, along with the automobile industry rapid development, it also proposes higher request of SMC material, we needs it to have the shorter cure time and finer product performance. But now if we want to determine the craft of SMC product, we should summarizes the experience which completely depend upon in the massive experimental foundation , and it consumes a lot time and energy, also the quality of product cannot obtain the guarantee.The article studies the crucial technical question and the difficult development which exists in the preparation of the SMC compound materials. We study the keys technical of the low temperature and fast solidification, optimize the craft parameter of the formation technical, simulate and simulate by computer. Through the use of coordination effect of the compound initiator, we adopt the method which coordinates the dosage of the high temperature and the low temperature initiator. We study the experiment with the different active unsaturated polyester resin. From the study of the gelatin time, the cure characteristic, the storage time, as well as the aspects of the product quality. Through to study the performance of the mould pressing product we can confirm the effectiveness of the new fast initiation system, and form fast cure system of the SMC production technology. We research the cure mechanism of the unsaturated polyester resin, and discuss its cure dynamics model, it can provide the theory basis and the practice instruction of the conformability conditions of the SMC formation technological.The experimental result indicated that, through mix the high temperature and the low temperature initiator, it enable the storage time of the different active unsaturated polyester resin to have the reduction, and the gel time, the cure time, the exothermic peak temperature reduce correspondingly, when the high temperature and the low temperature initiator compound proportion is 80/20,its storage time change a little, But the gel time and the cure time have the remarkable influence actually, so this proportion is best compound proportion in the all kind of compound initiator by synthesizing various aspects of the consideration. Not only the fast initiation system can reduce the cure time of the mould pressing formation obviously, but also it can improvement to the end product performance distinctly, such as the glossiness, the cure, the bending strength and the degree of hardness all have increase.This article discuss the characteristic and mechanism of the cure response of SMC and study the dynamics of reaction process, we have established the cure dynamic equation.Finally through researching the simulation software of the mould pressing process, we discovers that we can simulation and the optimization the compression molding craft by using the CAE tool. And can obtain the good component design. Although the expenditure is very big by using the CAE tool in the initial period of design, it can reduce the design cost of the new produce. Along with the high request , which need reduce the cost, improve the quality and the reduction cycle request, the CAE enhances the benefit of SMC produce is extreme important. |
