With the development of the supramolecular science and the further understanding of the supramoleclar functional supramolecular has more and more become the aim of the pursuit for people. Researches on the transition metal complexes with pyridyl ligands have received considerable interest in recent years because the pyridyl ligands can be used to construct many supramolecular complexes with novel structures and specific properties due to their many coordination spots , strong coordination abilities and the peculiarities of easily formingπ-πinteraction of aromatic rings and hydrogen bonds . As a excellent chelated reagent, 1,10-phenanthroline can be used to form all kinds of compounds with transition metals and lanthanons . It has been extensively used in most fields such as bionics, fluorescence probe, molecule catalyse, ion appraisal, biomedicine and so on. Therefore, there is very important meaning of synthesizing of the coordination compound and researching it's character.In this paper we used 1,10-phenanthroline as raw material to synthesize two pyridyl ligands: l,10-phenanthroline-5,6-dione (pdo) and 4,5-diazafluorene-9-one quinaldinoylhydrazone (dfqh). Adopting the method of volatilizing solution at room temperature, we obtained five crystals of compounds with synthesized two pyridyl ligands, sodium dicyanamide (dca) and different metal ions. They respective are two supramolecular compounds (pdo)·(CH3OH)(1), (dfqh)·(CH3CH-2OH)(4) and three supramolecular complexes [Ag(pdo)(dca)](2), [Hg(pdo)I2](3) and [Cu(2-qca)2(py)2] (2-qca=quinoline-2-carboxylic acid, py=pyridine)(5). These supramolecular complexes have been characterized by elementary, infrared spectroscopic analysis and X-ray single crystal diffraction.The supramolecular compound (pdo)-(CH3OH)(1) crystallizes in the triclinic space group Pi, with a = 7.3494(15) A,b = 8.9034(18) A, c = 9.2994(19) A, a = 96.14(3)°,β= 95.94(3)°,γ= 110.74(3)°, V= 559.2(2) A3, Z= 2,μ= 0.105 mm-1, Dc = 1.439 g·cm-3. The single crystal determination for complex 1 reveals that it is composed of 1,10-phenanthroline-5,6-dione(pdo) and methanol which is a solvent molecule. It exhibits two-dimensional network structure supramolecular formed by hydrongen andπ-πinteractions.The supramolecular complexe [Ag(pdo)(dca)](2) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n, with a = 10.264(2) A, b = 11.643(2) A, c = 11.843(2) A,α= 90°,β= 111.86(3)°,γ= 90°, V= 1313.6(5) A3, Z = 4,μ= 1.549 mm-1, Dc = 1.942 g·cm3. The single crystal determination for complex 2 reveals that it is a neutral dimeric complex bridged by N(CN)2-. Each metel sliver(I) ion is provided with AgIN4 four- coordinated environment. Sliver(I) ion coordinates with two N of pdo and two N of dca. The co-ordination polyhedron is defined by four atoms around sliver(I) ion in a distorted tetrahedron. Its neutral dimeric cells are extended of three-dimensional network structure by hydrogen bonds.The supramolecular complexe [Hg(pdo)I2](3) crystallizes in the Orthorhombic space group Pnna, with a =16.2469(16) A, b = 11.5744(12) A, c = 7.8747(8) A,α= 90°,β= 90°,γ= 90°, V= 1480.8(3) A3, Z = 4,μ=14.561mm-1, Dc = 2.981 g·cm-3. The single crystal determination for complex 3 reveals that it is an unattached and neutral coordinated molecule. Central metal hydrargyrum(II) ion is four-coordinated environment. Hydrargyrum(II) ion coordinates with two N of pdo and two I ion. The co-ordination polyhedron is defined by four atoms around sliver(I) ion in a distorted tetrahedron. Its unattached structure cells are connected to one-dimension infinite polymeric chains along c axis by C-H·O hydrogen bonds. And each pairs of 1D chains recognize each other through C-H…I hydrogen bonds and I...I interactions to generate a 3D supramolecular network structural compound.The supramolecular compound (dfqh)·(CH3CH2OH) (4) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c, with a= 7.4677(15) A,b = 22.320(5)A, c = 11.854(2)A,α= 90°,β= 97.16(3)°,γ= 90°, V= 1960.5(7) A3, Z = 4,μ= 0.090mm-1, Dc =1.346 g·cm-3. The single crystal determination for complex 4 reveals thatπ-πstacking interactions paly an important role in crystal packing and the stability of the compound. Theπ-πstacking interactions in complex 4 extend the structure into two-dimensional network.The supramolecular complexe [Cu(2-qca)2(py)2] (5) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c, with a = 8.8124(18) A, b = 9.800(2) A, c = 15.503(3) A,α= 90°,β= 104.87(3)°,γ= 90°, V =1294.1(5) A3, Z = 2,μ= 0.888 mm-1, Dc =1.453 g·cm-3. The single crystal determination for complex 5 reveals that Each metel copper(II) ion is six-coordinated environment. Copper(II) ion coordinates with two N and two O of 2-qca and two N of py. The co-ordination polyhedron is defined by six atoms around copper(II) ion in a distorted octahedron. Hydrogen bonds andπ-πstacking interactions extend the structure of the complex 5 into 2D plane and more into 3D space structure.In this text, several kind of goals compound molecular spectrum nature has been rough determined. The infrared spectra characteristic peaks of special groups in the target compounds and major ligand have been analysised. And the peaks position was compared with other similar complexes of the same group of peaks. At last, the influence, which is the coordination of different metal ions to the locations of the same group of infrared spectra characteristic peak, has also been discussed. |
