The coal bed spontaneous combustion is an important reason causes the mine fire accident. Using the inhibition technology, to reduce the coal bed spontaneous combustion tendency, is an effective method to prevent and control the mine fire accident. The thesis through conducts the research of the inorganic salts inhibitor's inhibition mechanism and the inhibition characteristic, provides the theory basis and the technical support for the practical application.The inhibition mechanism research aspect, according to the quantum chemistry and the coordination chemistry theory, has studied the coal molecule and the inorganic salts inhibitor's reaction process and the product configuration, proposes a new opinion to the inhibition mechanism: The coal molecule and the inhibitor have the coordination reaction, causes the coal molecule's activeness to reduce, and the oxygen chemical adsorption becomes difficult compared to the original.The inhibition characteristic research aspect, uses thermo-gravimetric analysis technology, contrast studied the coal sample's ignition activation energy change situation, after joined different inhibitor or the same inhibitor with different quality allocated proportion.The result indicated that, the coal sample has the selectivity to the inhibitor type; the inhibitor's inhibition effect and the amount that is used are not proportional.
