The Anaerobic Baffled Reactor(ABR) disposing the recalcitrant wastewater has a good usage foreground, but the current research of disposing the recalcitrant wastewater using ABR reactors is still not very perfect, needing the further research.There is research to indicate that, because of the baffle-wall keeping each space room from returning , ABR has a strong ability to keep back the granular sludge,so Sludge Retention Time(SRT) will be longer, which is benefit to longer germs to increase, urging system formating the complex germ community. The characteristic of ABR made that it has potential advantage to dispose the recalcitrant wastewater.In this study, methyltin mercaptide heat stabilizer wastewater was investigated, especially the operating performance of ABR is analyzed.Result of the study indicated:1. In the gas float test, oil volume has certain degree increasing by equally after the gas floats under other condition, the oil volume increment reaches 37.50% more although the amounts increasing absolute oil are not big , the oil volume increment increases by relatively, relatively during the period of the reflux ratio is 40% except that back-flow is compared to 10%; Ascertain the best reflux ratio being 40%.2. The technics of evaporating concentrating crystal can remove most of the NH4Cl , which can ba reclaimed to reduce wastewater treatment cost.It can reduce the concentration of COD widely, COD removal rate maintaining 60%. This technics also has a very high removal rate to total Sn, which contents fell to 10.4 mg/L in waste water from 121.27 mg/L.3. In the intermittence anaerobic fermentation experiment, for the blowed water sample 1, when the rate of puting in is 12.5%, the wastewater can be degraded by anaerobic microorganism.But the quantity of methane decreased when the rate of puting in increasing to 25%, 37.5%, 50%, indicating that the anaerobic restraint of wastewater was very high.4. In partly continuation anaerobic fermentation experiment, puting in the blowed water sample 2, accumulated relatively producing gas has a fairly good linearity relation with the digesting time, indicating that pollution in the wastewater may be made use of when the rate of puting in was very low. But at the same time, this water sample still had anaerobic restraint when the rate of puting in was very low. Throwing more water sample everyday, the anaerobic restraint was bigger.5. In the experiment of ABR disposing the pretreatment effluent water,these conclusion can be made out.(1) The COD degradation rates in the first lattice rooms are maximal, while COD degradation rates are very low in second, third lattice room,in which COD increased sometimes; In fourth lattice room COD degradation rates increased to some extent. Average removal rate of COD is between 30% and 40%, which indicated that the anaerobic restraint of wastewater was very high.(2) In the toxicity testing, average removal rate of COD increases only from the first two stages 33% to 40%, indicating that the poisoned sludge was difficult to rehabilitate comparatively.(3) The variety of pH value and the carbonic acid hydrogen salt alkalinity is contrary with the variety of VFA.When the VFA reduces, the pH value and the carbonic acid hydrogen salt alkalinity rises; when the VFA increases, pH value and the carbonic acid hydrogen salt alkalinity descend.(4) Combining to this experiment results, this conclusion can be made: wastewater similar to this kind wastewater with high toxicity and low COD concentration should not be digested directly.
