General chemistry is a required course for the science and engineering students whose major are not chemistry or chemical industry, which play an important role to train student's chemistry quality and strengthen the supporting of chemistry to special field discipline. General chemistry theory knowledge is the important component in the general chemistry system and it also is the foundation and core of studying general chemistry theory knowledge. So studying general chemistry theory knowledge well is very important.We found that there ware so many problems in studying general chemistry by investigate about 500 undergraduates in Jilin University who are studying general chemistry. The scarcity of study strategy application is the most arrestive. As we known, study method and study adjustment and controlling are organic continuum. It can help students to make the knowledge systematism structural; and also can help them understand and apply the knowledge during studying. The scarcity of study strategy application is the most losing in the general chemistry theory knowledge studying. So researching,application and spreading the general chemistry study strategy is significant.The first part of the thesis starts with the knowledge about studying strategy, and then it expatiated the problems about the study strategy roundly. Firstly, we understood seven different kinds of concepts of study strategy, and then comprehended study strategy from the following three aspects: Come up to say from the abstract meaning, the study strategy means " the latent study rule"; Come up to say from the operation meaning, the study strategy is study method and study adjustment and controlling are organic continuum; Come up to say from the structure meaning, study strategy is made up by the main factors such as study method and the control and regulation of study. Secondly, we looked back the history origin and the development of the study strategy, from the Chinese ancient times to western philosopher, psychologist who concerned the study strategy research, and then hold the development direction and its modern development trend of the study strategy. So we understood the main factors of the study strategy adequately, including some knowledge such as the unit cognition knowledge and cognition experience, unit cognition supervision and study method. Then, we divided the study strategy by different points of view. On foregoing foundation, we studied the characteristics and purpose of the study strategy. We know that study strategy had three characteristics totally: the study strategy is the unification of the operability and supervision; the study strategy is the unification of outside and inside; the study strategy is the unification of versatility and transfer. We make it clearness that the study strategy can make the study more scientific and raise the study's quality and efficiency. After learning the study strategy related knowledge, we differentiated and analyze the study strategy with the relation of the related concept, that is the relation between study strategy and teaching strategy, the relation between study strategy and cognition, the relation between study strategy and unit cognition, studying method.In the second part of the thesis, it according the system of book《new university chemistry》,which is the textbook of non- chemistry or chemical engineering student in Jilin University, we induced the general chemistry theory knowledge, and study the characteristics of the general chemistry theory knowledge. After analyzed the questionnaire, we found the existent problem in the student during study the general chemistry and the application study strategy. There are three kinds of problems: The first, the knowledge contents is excessive, the structure is complicated, and difficult to study. The second, the students lack a effective method to comprehend and apply the knowledge. The third, they also lack a valid study method. There are also exist three problems in the study strategy application: The first problem, they didn't apply study strategy. The second problem, they are short of the knowledge of study strategy, and didn't know how many kind of study strategy, how to use. The third problem, they have prejudice to the study strategy, and think it has no actual meaning. At the end of the second part, we analyzed the meaning of the study strategy for studying the general chemistry theory knowledge, namely: systematize the knowledge, help comprehension theory knowledge and activate theory knowledge.In the third, fourth and fifth part of the thesis, we do a systemic research which is to apply study strategy to common chemistry. On the demarcation of strategy, we divided the study strategy into three parts, namely the application of study strategy in the preview process, the application of study strategy in the learning process, the application of study strategy in the reviewing process, according the characteristics of different period of the studying the chemistry theory knowledge.At the preview stage, we put forward the essential cognition strategy and ducted scenario strategy. The essential cognition strategy means at the time of studying the chemistry theory knowledge, analysis the main factor within theory knowledge, hold the important point, and then set up to the cognition structure of the theory knowledge by the cognize to the main factor, to attain the purpose of learning and comprehending the chemistry theory knowledge. Its theories foundation is the philosophy thought that grasps a main conflict and makes the conflict more particular. .The ducted scenario strategy, just as its name implies, use the related knowledge of the scenario to induce leading, the scenario is the cognize foundation, to realize the transition from sensitive cognition to reasonableness cognition .Its theories foundation is a theories concerning the scenario teaching and the scenario study.In the learning process, we put forward essential analysis strategy, concept to assimilate strategy, system construction strategy and interact to enhance strategy. Here, the essential analysis strategy means during studying student need to analysis the relation of cognition, function and the main factor in chemistry theory knowledge, and make the students integrate and comprehend and turn it inside in order to comprehend and master the knowledge upon they dismantled chemistry theory knowledge. Its theories foundation is the thought that"divide and rule". The concept assimilation strategy means a new method that the learners use the appropriate concept in the original cognition structure to study a new concept. Its theories foundation is cognize psychology. The system construction strategy means an effective strategy that aim at making the large-scale and complicated theories knowledge more systematized and structural during learning process. Its theory foundations are the standpoint of system theory and the construction theory. The interaction enhances strategy means the student practices with the theory instruction while study the chemistry theories knowledge, and then abstract the related comprehensions of the theory knowledge in order to make the theory knowledge deeply. Its theory foundation is the theories contact actual thought.During the reviewing stage, we put forward the inducing strategy and concept diagram strategy. The induced study strategy means that at the time of reviewing, students complete the review of the chemistry theories knowledge efficiently by inducing related knowledge. Its theory foundation is to construct theory and "recent development area" theory .The concept diagram strategy means a strategy that students apply a concept diagram to study the theory knowledge. Its theory foundation is construct theory and the meaning study theory, which is put forward by the American famous cognition psychologist David P. Amusable.Here we explain the applications of every study strategy and all have corresponded explication, and we wish can get an extensive application by expecting in the fulfillment.
