In the large-scale tanks that are used for storing strategic oil, in order to prevent the heavy constituentsof crude oil from depositing, which may result the wastes of the useful constituents and the cleaning problem of the tanks, usually, there are mixing equipments installed. The rotary jet mixing(RJM for short) system is the safest and most effective method presently. Studies on this kind of systems are very early and now are mature abroad. But they are underway at home. In order to promote the RJM system popularly used in our country, it is meaningful to design the RJM system by ourselves. In this thesis, the subject investigated is the RJM. Fully simulation of the RJM is carried out using the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) technology. The purpose is that, through the simulation analysis, combining all the influencing factors, to get the external characteristics of the components of the RJM. And then, this will be work to the structure design and optimization, laterly, it will satatisfy the demands during engineering applications.Based on the structure design, geometric model which will be used for CFD simulation is eatablished through the analysis of the structure. And then it is meshed. Reasonable boundary conditions are defined governing the physical circumstances. And the detailed contents for predicting the performance of the RJM are given. These contents are about the axial turbine, the nozzle, the whole system and the jet power. Lots of work conditions (different Q combines different n) and several models (varying from each) are simulated by FLUENT. A series of faces with special conditions are intercepted. The detailed information about velocity and pressure can be obtained from these faces. Then, the performance of all parts is calculated through the data exported from the CFD silulation results, and performance curves are given.Compare with the experiments and simulation of the single axial flow turbine,the similar interior flow rules are found in the faces in the same positon. Thus ,the CFD method and the compute stratege are right. And the results of the interior flow analysis and the performance prediction are reliable. And then can be the reference informationfor the whole system experiment study next. |
