The proposing of lump has provided a development direction for the complex reaction process research. The heavy feed stock dynamics is established mainly using the lump dynamics method because in the hydrogenation tail oil the heavy component is more. This method has all obtained the successful experiences in the catalytic pyrolysis, in the catalytic cracking and in the catalytic reforming, but used less in the thermal pyrolysis. In order to test the stability of the designed equipment, the experiments using the naphtha under three temperatures 820,840,860℃,three resident time 0.14,0.18,0.22s,three water-oil ratios 0.45,0.65,0.85 were did. Then the hydrogenation tail oil was used as the raw material and the experiments under three temperatures 820,840,860℃,three resident time 0.18,0.20,0.22s,three water-oil ratios 0.7,0.75,0.8 were did. According to the experiment data, the influences of the temperature, the resident time and the water-oil ratio to the ethylene yield were analyzed.According to the analysis of the raw material and the experiment data, the pyrolysis reaction system was divided into five lumps components: the alkane, the cyclane, the ethylene, the gas and the tar. Then the five lumps dynamics model was established, the corresponding reaction network chart and the dynamics mathematic expression between the lumps were given. Compiled the procedure using Matlab language and estimated the dynamics parameters using the Marquardt improved arithmetic. After the procedure was modified and debugged, the model parameters of the lump model under three temperatures were calculated. Through the comparison discovered the value of the model predicted and the experiment were quite close, so the model could forecast the daughter product production rate well along with each operating condition change tendency.
