With the development of nanomaterial science, the cognition of nanoparticles is being deepened. As the important composing of nanomaterial there are lots of unique characteristics about nanoparticles, including quanta size effect,little size effect,surface effect,macroscopical quanta tunnel effect etc., and increasingly it becomes one of pop objects researched and exploited in academia.With the development of science the requirement to characteristics about material becomes higher and higher., and simplex material cannot achieve high-tech. As one of the new developments of electroplating and electroless plating, there are many characteristics such as high rigidity,high wear resistance,corrosion resistance about composite coatings, and so it develops fast. If nanoparticles are applied in electroless plating, relevant composite coatings will be gained. The technic is attached universal importance inside and outside. So in this paper it makes well composite coatings by electroless plating as the research object, and it is studied about the preparation, micro-structures and properties of nanocomposite coatings. The results as follows:Nanoparticles are dispersed well with ultrasonic and mix round during the plating, and there is no visible mass in coatings by TEM. And the coating rate is high when the temperature is between 85℃-90℃. The coating rate of nano-composite coatings increase when the particle content becomes more, and reaches maximum when the particle content is 3g/L. With definite content the coating rate of nanocomposite coatings is higher than sub-micron and micron composite ones.It is found by analyzing the microstructures that it is mixture of minicrystal and non-crystal when nanocomposite coatings is aboriginality. The particles and coatings are integrated close and it is no dis- figurement in the surface of coatings. It is no visible mass in the coatings about nanoparticles, and the array of particles is random and not symmetrical.It is indicated by studying the characteristics that the rigidity of nanocomposite coatings is highest when the coatings is heated for one hour at 400℃and the particle content is 3g/L, but the wear resistance of nanocomposite coatings is best when the coatings is heated for one hour at 600℃. And three kinds of wear mechanisms are researched.
