In this dissertation, the species of laser protective materials, the standard of laser-protection technology and the developing of laser protective materials both domestic and international have been generally introduced. Protective principles and damage principles of laser on eyes are briefly commented.Amine salt complexes are important near infrared dyes which have very important application in the fields of laser protection, photoelectron device and so on. In this dissertation, the compounds of amine salt were selected as subjects investigated. The compounds were prepared from p-nitroaniline and p- nitrochlorobenzene by four steps reaction. Three kinds of different alkyl substituted amine salt compounds which used as the near-infrared absorbents were synthesized respectively. The structures of the products were characterized by means of infrared spectra and nuclear magnetic resonance hydrogen spectra. The ultraviolet-visible-near infrared spectra of the compounds in the MMA were tested, the maximum absorption wavelength of these complexes were all in the range of 900~1000nm, and the maximum absorption wavelength led to red shift with the stronger polarity of solvent. The salvation experiment showed that the maximum absorption wavelength become longer with the stronger of the electron supplied property. At the same time, the TG analysis showed three compounds had good thermo-stability. Using the injection molding method, laser protective material was prepared by mixing near infrared dye with optics resin, which established the foundation for the using of the material.
