Along with the rapid develop of the fine-blanking technology, and the expands of the range of its application, many parts pressed with the fine-blanking. This can not only ensure the intension and the rigidity of the parts, but also can heighten the life-span of the parts, heighten the working productivity, then consequently reduce the cost of the produce. So, by way of the primary manufacture method, the technology of the fine-blanking is coming to front more and more now.The process of fine-blanking is very complicated. In the process, the plastic deformation focuses on the narrow area between the upper die and lower die. As the fine-blanking is a process of intense localized plastic deformation, an unstable process of geometry nonlinearity, material nonlinearity. There are a lot of process parameters effecting blanking quality. And it often arises fracture, large die-roll, and large burrs. The control of the fine-blanking fracture is a task of the control of the fine-blanking quality. In order to control the fine-blanking fracture, it is necessary to predict the initial crack and the crack propagation of the material. It is deeply studied in the crack propagation of fine-blanking in this paper. The element-delete method, which is widely used in the commercial software, is discussed in detail. In comparison, the node-separating method and the crack tip remeshing method are studied. On the other hand, experiments of fine-blanking are made. Circle sheet of SS400 steel is used in the experiments. Though kinds of experiments, the crack parameters in different stokes of upper die can be obtained. Based on the experiments, the element-delete method, the node-separate method, and the crack tip remeshing method are used to simulate the fine-blanking. It is discussed for the three methods to handle the crack mesh, and about their application areas. The element-delete method has the advantages of simple operation and high speed. It can be used in the condition of the fine fracture surfaces are of no necessities. The node-separate method can not be used to simulate the arbitrary crack, but is suitable to handle the situation that the crack path can...
