In order to improve the abrasion-resistant on the casting surface, this paper has studied surface alloy-reinforced composites. Abrasion-resistant powder composed of WC and high-carbon Cr-Fe mixed with binder was merged with Low-Cr cast iron at the time of pouring. The process of cast-infiltration was optimized by orthogonal method. No biowholes and slag inclusions defects compact metallurgically-combineded cast-infiltration layer was obtained on Low-Cr iron matrix, the thickness is 2 mm, and the process parameter was decided. After the surface of WC was treated, there is a piece of CeO2 on WC. The experimental results showed the microscopic structure of composite has 4 layers: base, transition, cast-infiltration, outer layer; the factors of cast-infiltration process are preheating temperature, ~L, fusing agent, filtering agent in importance sequence. Hardness of composite is lower than High-Cr iron, but its abrasive resistance is better than High-Cr iron.
