This article take the converter sludge as the main raw material, choosing polyacry lamide, polyvinyl alcohol and bentonite makes as the agglomerant, the quick-lime makes as the addition agent carry on pressed the group and the calcaination, to the ball the compressive strength and falls intensity to carry on the determination and the analysis, and has determined the best craft parameter.The ball group's best craft parameter is: the consumption of polyacrylamide is 0.5%, the consumption of the polyvinyl alcohol is 0.2%, the consumption of the quick-limel .5%, the consumption of the bentonite is 1.3%.This time, balls groups' intensity achieved requirement of returning to the converter to make as the combined flux, the obtained ball group performance is: Ball group compressive strength 504N, falls intensity 4.2. After applying the combined flux to the converter, assay and analysis smelting target, the ability of escaping S and escaping P, the converter cooling capacity and the slag composition, confirmed all obtained the good effect in each aspect: The smelting target obtained the enhancement, reduced the steel iron material, the lime and the oxygen consumption, ability of escaping P to obtain strengthens, reduced the tapping temperature, reduced to the furnace lining corrosion, enhanced the campaign length, which bring to bigger economic efficiency to the enterprise.The result of test indicated that sludge of converter product combined flux is feasible, which has the better economic efficiency, meanwhile has makes use of waste, protect social the environment and so on .This experiment found an effective way for the utilization sludge of converter of LongMen Steel Group and also to seek a good craft parameter for the combined flux.
