Along with the development of society and economic, the lack of resources prick up gradually, and environmental press increases more and more, both of them have become prominent problems of national economy developing. China is a big country of minerals consumption, However many mineral resources of national economy and mainstay are lack, the level of complex utilization is low, and the waste of resources is severe. Every year, the value of industrial solid waste materials that are able to be utilized but not to, is get over 250 hundred million yuan, because of renewable resources leaking, economic loss has reached 250 - 300 hundred million yuan. According to statement, in the world, industrial developmented countrys'complex utilization ratio is on an average above 80%, for example, America's sulphur utilization ratio of colored smelting plant is 55-90%, Japan's sulphur utilization ratio of annealed copper enterprise is 90-99%; but our country's complex utilization ratio of accompanying metal in major smelting enterprises are only on an average 50% now, sulphur utilization ratio is only on an average 62%, complex utilization of mineral resources is in primary phases. Therefore, relaiming valuable constituents from waste residue, waste water,exhaust gas of metallurgy is an important task to workers of metallurgy, complex utilization of resources is the only way of continueable development, releasing resource problems, building saving society,and it has pround significance to improve economic benefits, social benefits, environmental benefits.Jinchuan company is the biggest base to produce nickel in our country, copper residue leached by chlorine that is produced in production process of eletrolyzation contains nickel, copper, cobalt, noble metal and a great deal of sulphur. This paper proundly explored and studied the problem of disposal technics to this residue. According to the features of copper residue, with extracting sulphur and enriching metals as basic thought, the author refered to literatures to analyse reclaiming sulphur technics in the world, and selected three more sutiable methods: organic solvent method, ammonium sulfide leaching method, hot filtering method to dispose copper residue leached by chlorine, through orthogonal test to confirm each technic programme'best technic condition and check the effect of main effect factors on the leaching efficiency of elemental sulphur.Research results indicated: the three kinds of technics methods that disposedcopper residue leached by chlorine are technicly feasible, but they have merits and demerits themselves: organic solvent, particularly dimethyl benzene reclaimed sulphur whose quality is best in the three methods, however because of organic solvent's properties: being toxic, volatile easily, burning easily, busting easily and its large loss in the coruse of experiment, its application in practical industry lies a series of problems such as: safety problem,economic problem and so on; ammonium sulfide leaching method also can gained good sulphur, and ammonium sulfide(73%) could be returned to reuse, cost is lower, but during the experiment, noble metal'loss is inevitable, valuable metal can not be enriched wholly,and it influenced sulphur' quality in a certain degree; hot filtering method' operative weldability is most simple in three methods, and after some times hot filtering, we can also get good sulphur, it didn't lie handing safety incipient fault either cause valuable metal's loss that better than ammonium sulfide leaching method, and its economy is better than organic solvent method, therefore it can reach the aim of recaiming sulphur.In a word, comparing three methods, hot filtering method is the best method in them.its technological condition is: when adding 2% special built addition agents to copper residue leached by chlorine, sulphur recovery ratio can reach 75.6%, wich increased 25.71%, paralleling with direct hot filtering.
