Digital Watermark And Its Applications Research In Copyright Protection Protocol

With the incoming and developing of digital information and network, the scope and depth of information are enhanced in great extend, the efficiency and nicety of it are improved, and the speed and simpleness of it are increased. At the same time, because the juggling becomes easier, the demands of copyright protection, content authentication and pirate tracking are put forward. It is an important issue to enforce valid copyright protection and information security in the network environment.Digital watermarking is a new effective technology to resolve the problem of multimedia copyright protection and content authentication in recent years. The basic idea of digital watermarking is taking advantage of the redundancy in multimedia such as image, audio and video, and embedding the secret information into them. The secret information is the watermarking.Based on the expatiation and compare of recent watermarking algorithms, with discussion of the attack on watermarking, this paper summarizes the characteristic of watermarking technology for copyright protection.With the analysis of present copyright protection scheme, contrapose the discoverable weakness and deficiency, this paper propose a secure and fair digital copyright protection protocol based on digital watermarking and digital signature.
