Artificial media was used to enrich microbe and improve the water resource quality, therefore trace quantity organic pollutants were biodegraded. This method belonged to microbe Bioremediation, which had wide application prospect with the development of Bioremediation technology. The research contents could be divided into two parts. Firstly, select out a kind of artificial media, which could enrich locationaj microbe and improve the water resource quality effectly in natural condition from combination padding, elastic padding and non-spinned-fabric in pilot-scale ponds. Secondly, laboratory experiments were taken to investigate the biodegradation effeciency of Nitrobenzene, Atrazine, 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene, 1,2,4,5-tetrachlorobenzene and Phthalic acid esters PAEs by the selected artificial media after slime growths and domestication. The result of the first experiment showed that, compared to the other two artificial medias, combination padding was more suitable to be used in eutrophication water resource quality improvement technology, having characteristics of most biomass, highest biological activity, being easiest to slime growth, and removing nitrogen and phosphorus in some degree. The result of the second experiment showed that, after domestication, the micro association enriched in the artificial media could biodegrade corresponding trace quantity organic pollutants. At the same time, the congener trace quantity organic pollutants could be biodegraded. A strain of bacteria that could degrade 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene was separated, and its degradation mechanism to 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene was studied. The results showed that its degradation velocity to 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene in medium, which contained both 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene and dextrose, was higher than that in medium, which only contained 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene.By the research of this subject, parameters were provided for the utilization of this technology in the area which not fit for aquatic macrophyte owing to stormy waves, lower diaphaneity and non-sludge, the mid-area between floating-leaved macrophyte and submersed macrophyte, or the algal controlling area by fish and bivalvia in model engineering area. Besides, practical technology and method direction were provided to produce drinking water safely from eutrophication water resource and select eutrophication water resource treatment process in reason.
