Ecological Status Investigation And Evaluation Of Dayao And Xiaoyao Bays

Marine, as a new economic increasing area at the 21th century, has theattention of all the countries, witch makes the inconsistency between exploiting resource and protecting ecological environment be more serious. It has been a very important issue to insure the developing of marine economy be healthy and continuable. Ecological status of Dayao and Xiaoyao Bays of northen Yellow sea are investigated and evaluated in this paper. The purpose is to show the relationship among marine aquiculture, port constructing, coast industrial production, human activity and marine ecological environment and find a balance pot between economy and environment protection.We set up 18 stations and sampling on different seasons on that points at Dayao and Xiaoyao Bays. The present conditions of environment factors including quality of sea water, nutritive structure, sediment and plankton are investigated, respectively. The data of chemical factor, such as DIN PO₄^3--P SiO₃²-Si Zn Pb Chl-a and the data of sediment and plankton have been got. The quality of sea water and sediment are evaluated by gray relating methods; nutritive structure and nutritive level are evaluated by nutrition exponential methods; plankton are evaluated by Gleason diversity exponential methods. And the evaluated result reflecting the marine actuality and developing trend are concluded. From the evaluated results, we conclude the environmental qualities of the both investigated bays are not worse. Otherwise, the environment of the two bays are destroyed by coast industrial production. The marine area is in high pressure of pollution now. And this marine area will face huge risk if it continues to develop in the old way. As the author opinion , to insure the developing of marine economy be healthy and continuable, it is necessary to regulate the economic activities control the port building pollution, strength sea-route management, father the contamination discharging, adjust the aquiculture construction to be grazing in the marine in this area to renew the environment gradually.
