Research On Isolation,Identification And Degradation Characters Of Butachlor Degradation Bacterium

Butachlor is an effective herbicide, which is to prevent the weed in paddy field or glebe field. With the excellent characteristic of low dosage, high activation, strong selectivity, it has been become one of the three largest use of herbicides. However, agricultural environment is seriously polluted due to great production and improper application of butachlor. With the increase of people's environmental and healthy concept, the effect of butachlor to biological environment and human health is focused popularly.By traditional enrichment shaking culture, a bacterium strain ER1 capable of degrading butachlor was isolated and identified. The growth characteristics and the kinetics of butachlor biodegradation were studied at different environmental condition, including of simulated polluted soil condition.The research results are followed:1. A bacterium strain ER1, which could degrade herbicide butachlor effectively in basal medium, was isolated from batch culture with butachlor as sole carbon or nitrogen source and soil from pesticide plant as inoculum.
