Monomer casting nylon (MC nylon) is one of nylon materials ,which can be directly produced from molten monomers (CL) at normal pressure in the mold using NaOH as an activator and chain initiator vacuum-dehydration direct add to the mold which heat up to 165~195 ℃ beforehand, the activate material begin polymerization in the mold, finally , solidified to a board. In this paper, MC nylon was prepared by alkali catalyzing and anion polymerization principle on the condition of static casting, the various factors relevant with the polymerization from temperature, catalyst content and activator content is discussed in this article. Crystallization, tensile strength, elongation at break, un-and notched impact strength and shore hardness of polymers was presented of the material's mechanical property, analyzed the relation and disciplinarian of each index. After the orthogonal experiment the optical parameters for the polymerization follows as: 0.006mol/mol CL of catalyst content, 0.002mol/mol CL of activator content, and 185℃ of mold temperature, Under this condition, the concern properties of MC nylon is: 71.54% of crystallization, 82.7KJ/m~2 of notched impact strength, 52.4 of shore hardness, 70.38Mpa of tensile strength, 6% of elongation at break. The composite of MC nylon was prepared by adding carbon fiber which was oxidized at 450 ℃ for one hour. The experiment analyzed the correlation properties of composite of MC nylon and its changing law under the infection of the fiber content and length .The surface of composites was observed by using the SEM. The results indicated that using carbon fiber strength MC nylon is viable, with the enhance of fiber content and the longer of fiber, mostly strength properties had improved, but impact and elongation at break had some reduced.
