Selenium in the nanometer scale has nice bio-availability and bio-activity, but low-toxicity. It is a great medicine for supplement of selenium. Nanoselenium(nanoSe0) is difficult in existence in aqueous solution without protection. So how to preserve nano-Se0 by surface-modified has the significance to make nanoSe0 medicine. Algal polysaccharides have good anti-virus and anti-cancer activities. We have investigated algal polysaccharides in the use of nanometerfication and stabilization effect for surface-modifying nanoSe0 in aqueous solution. We managed to combine algal polysaccharides and nanoSe0, and tried to co-operate them with union of bio-activity.1. Research of spectroscopy of algal polysaccharides and degraded algal polysaccharides.Algal polysaccharides are the macromolecular carbohydrate of alga. They have characters of water-solubility and concreting, anti-virus and anti-cancer activity. Due to the large molecular weight and low water-solubility, their clinical usage is narrow. We prepared the algal polysaccharides by oxidative degradation with H2O2 under the ultrasonic wave. The degraded algal polysaccharides had good content of sulfated group and low 3,6-anhydro-galactose. They can be taken in more easily. So it enhanced their bio-activity. Algal polysaccharides and degraded algal polysaccharides were characterized via Resonance Rayleigh Scattering (RRS), UV-Vis and laser light scattering image. In terms of the results, we can provide the bases to further study the nanometerfication and stabilization effect of degraded algal polysaccharides for nanoSe0 in aqueous solution.2. Nanometerfication & stabilization effect of degraded undaria pinnatifida charv. suringer polysaccharide for nanoselenium in aqueous solution. In the presence of degraded undaria pinnatifida charv. suringer polysaccharide (DUP), appropriately excessive L-Ascorbic acid(Vc) and selenium dioxide(SeO2) reacted to prepare nanoSe0 in aqueous solution at room temperature. It was characterized via Resonance Rayleigh Scattering(RRS), laser light scattering image...
