The paper introduce fundamental theory and viewpoint on corrosion of iron and steel and zink coating, expounding loss and hazerd of corrosion, first. For corrosion,we should work hard to avoid or slow, therefore introduce emphasisly protection principle and methord of zink coating. Then descript the progress history on study of mechanical plating zink.Focus on mechanics of formation,microstucture,model of zinc coating,functipn of glass bead in process of technology,course of zink shape change in the mechanical plating zinc. The description of technology, facility, field of application is in the paper. For seeking the better technology of mechanical plating zinc, descriptng preparation of test sample, the influences of the particle size and shape of zinc power on the properties of mechanical deposited zinc coating were investigated by observing the metallographic microstructure of longitudinal and transverse cross-section and gauging the coating thickness with the optical microscope OLIMPUS-GX51, scribing line and scratching mesh test,using sulphuric acid test and bluestone liquid anti-corrosion test requiring in GB/T3091-2001 in here.It was shown that for the same mechanical plating technology, the particle of 320 mesh mechanical deposited zinc coating is large and non-uniform, the thickness of 320 mesh mechanical deposited zinc coating range from 33μm to 55μm;the zinc coating of 500 mesh sphere shape zinc powder whose thickness is 45μm~58μm have not denser than that of 500 mesh flake shape zinc powder; 500 mesh flake shape zinc powder coating meeting 33μm~41μm is densest and most homogeneous in three zinc powder coating. The adhesion strength of the three coatings made by 320 and 500 mesh particle zinc dusts and 500 mesh flake zinc dusts all meet the requirements of the relative national standard. In the coating thickness of the steel nail part, the link of circle and cap is the thickest. Those of the sharp corner and edge is thin. And, the circle and cap of steel nail is the thicker. Their uniformity measure up to standards of GB/T3091-2001. The better uniformity and anti-corrosion resistance of zinc coating could be obtained with the reduction of the particle diameter of zinc powder, the anti-corrosion resistance for mechanical deposited zinc coating by using flake shape zinc powder were much better than that zinc coating by using sphere shape zinc powder for the same particle diameter of zinc powder.
