The traditional teaching method is practice of the post.This method let students carry on the exercise with experienced operator, but this kind of method can't let student repetitive operation and make any mistake. It can't train the student very well, based on such a situation, emulational training is a very good solution. This thesis is proposed and carried on research in such cases. The simulation system of piping transportation based on SCADA include computer network platform, Honeywell PKS soft ware, supporting programe of backstage, and so on. Its hardware platforms and Honeywell PKS systems soft ware platforms are basically common to all kinds of pipeline; it can develop corresponding supporting programe of backstage as to different pipeline systems.First of all, this thesis introduces the background of research and significance. It also discusses the internal and external technology's research state and the problem about simulation system of piping transportation. Under the researching and investigation, the thesis discussed the simulation system of piping transportation based on SCADA and chose the software of Honeywell PKS to be the simulation platform.Secondly, the thesis researched the characteristics , structure, composing, function and state of development about software of Honeywell PKS. Because of using the function of SCADA, the thesis also introduced the SCADA system. Based on researching of this software, the thesis expounds the configuration of Quick Builder and Display Builder, researching the characteristic. From the research, it proved that using the software of Honeywell PKS to be simulation platform is viable.Thirdly, based on the simulation system's actual circs, the thesis researched the key technology which is used in simulation system, and also designs the simulation system.
