Under the background of our national available iron resource apt to poor,tiny and complex and the price of iron mineral dramatically rise, the separation technology of hematite with high phosphorus which is the most difficult problem in mineral separation area is proposed again. Especially for the oolite hematite in the west of Hubei, because the granule of value mineral is so tiny that we can't made it fit for smelting by traditional method.In this article according to the status of research for hematite with high phosphorus all of world is discussed haled on a review of the present situation in the concerned fields, we firstly do a survey to the hematite, and make deep sense of the geological situation,property,state,distributing. As the oolite configuration of hematite , I have studied on the many tradition methods and some new way, such as acid leaching,biologic separation, optional flocculation, and concerned with various of machine and medicament for separation. Idea based on high-effect, economy , environmental protection finally, the high gradient magnetic separator cost to have advantage comparatively elects , the centrifugal machine designs having highly valued the handicraft route electing as well as dispergation dephosphorize , having brought forward handicraft tentative plan and the process flow. On this basement, I study out a flow procedure and do very particular research by experiment.We disclosed the principle of dephosphorization and iron increase separation by the influence of mineralmagnetic property on magnetic separation, apatite siderite and hematite's property chemical in aqueous medium including mineral's interface characteristic in aqueous medium , and research on dephosphorization by Decolloidization Leaching mothed.On the experiment data and other considering, We make out a very reasonable procedure, which use the high gradient magnetic separator as glancing separation, classifying and regrinding of middlings, high gradient magnetic separator as fine separation , centrifugationr for gravity concentration and dispergation dephosphorization.
