The state and crystal structure of casting alloy would undergo certain changes from the liquid cooling to room temperature. Different alloy has different changes and each has its own characteristics. If these dynamic features could quantitatively described, casting alloys would able to accurately analyze and judge the existence of the state at different temperatures and the structural changes brought about by the impact of this metal, which has a great significance to metallic materials research, teaching and production process control. Therefore, this set of cast alloy linear shrinkage, hot crack detection system was designed.Detection system was composed of three parts by sensor, amplifier circuit, and collecting bodies, and it was also designed from this three areas. Sensor is ZQS-2000 casting alloys separatist hot-line contraction device developed by the Dalian University of Technology named, which could be transformed this parameters in alloy casting process such as temperature, linear contraction and hot crack force and it they can be displayed in the meter is a very convenient detection to system debugging.The sensor signals are very weak, but often accompanied by all kinds of noise, and will need to adjust amplification circuits, remove noise and carry out the necessary calculations to deal with change, according to the survey. So a conditioning module was designed, which was linear signal amplification, filtering noise, improve signal stability functions.Collecting bodies mainly consist of hard hardware such as data acquisition card, computer and related detective software. The data acquisition card was Art PCI2300 and computer was common configuration equipped with a current mainstream operating system Windows XP. Detection software, which has functional modular design, experimental realization of options, data acquisition, digital filtering, data retention, real-time display and analysis of data and the parameter measurement of amplifier module functions, was developed on the graphical programming environment platform of C + +Builder.
