With the development of new technology, the application of NC machine tool has been becoming more and more widespread. Tool-path optimization has drawn a lot of attention of scholar and it is the key issues to improve NC machining efficiency. Some new better methods based on studying Tool-path optimization are presented.Because of the decentralization to existing classic arithmetic, a thought way to create Tool-path-optimization modularization which are concentrated with some mature arithmetic is presented By analyzing the Tool-path-created techniques and the inbeing of optimization so that the Tool path of sculpture surface will been made easily; at the mean time, expert library is built by parameterzing normative surface。Complicated surface is too variational to be parted according to some regulation and optimization- design theory is adopted to mapping optimization arithmetic to surface which will create holistic optimum Tool-path after the area of surface has been optimized.To bring optimization-arithmetic modularization into play adequately, to link with CAM easily and improve process efficiency ulteriorly, the process of Tool-path optimization is systematized which named CATPP.at the same time,UML is used to analyze macro-structure plan of CATPP system.
