Because of the delicate pattern and complicated structures of the multibar Raschel lace, the traditional manual design has not meet the frequent change of the market. So,the development of the Design and Simulation System for Multibar Raschel Lace is the purpose of this thesis. After the study on the structure of all kinds of multibar raschel Lace fabrics, as well as the designing process of multibar pattern, the Design and Simulation System for Multibar Raschel Lace has been developed in Visual C ++.NET development platform, now it can be used to design all kinds of multibar laces. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:(â… ) On the basis of studying the producing principle of the multibar raschel lace and the characteristics of the structure of the fabric, the design and simulation models of inlay, loop-forming , fall plate stitches and jacquard draft have been built.(â…¡) According to the actual requirement of pattern designers in the factories, we analyze and sum up the functions which should be included in this system and build the overall frame of this system. The system mainly includes five function modules: multibar pattern design, jacquard draft design, the pattern display, pattern simulation and pattern data output.(â…¢) Analyzing and summing up all the detail functions which this system should include, as well as their operation steps and the program flows of some important functions.(â…£) By the aid of development tool of Visual C++.NET, we finish the development of this system.In conclusion, this system has a friendly man-machine interface and it is easy and convenient to operate. It can be used to design and simulate all kinds of multibar lace. With the help of this system, the designer can be liberated from the dull and repeated manual labor, the amount of design work can be decreased, the designing speed be improved and the developing cycle of the new product be shorten. Furthermore, the simulation program of this system enables manufacturers to access their designs before actual knitting, so the cost will be reduced largely. Meanwhile, this system is helpful for enterprises to meet the fierce competition and improve their management level.
