The tropism of polar molecule in liquid with high frequency results in oscillation, collision and friction among molecules, accompanied by a transformation from electromagnetic energy into thermal energy in medium directly. Corresponded various functions have put up a quite expansive foreground in the basic researches and technical exploitation on physics, chemistry and biology etc.. In this investigation microwave and falling film evaporation are coupled. The advantage of high heat transfer efficiency, low temperature difference, a rising of boiling point without static pressure loss, and shot residence time is demonstrated. Moreover, inner isochronous body heating can improve heat transfer effectively in case of high viscosity fluid flowed along a traditional wall. Therefore, the present investigation on the heat transfer of falling film evaporation microwave heaing is necessary and meaningful.Theoretical analysis and an experimental study on heat transfer process of falling film evaporation caused by microwave field were carried out.
