In the recent years,the study of properties and synthesis of ferrocene and its derivatives have always been an important term in these areas. Ferrocene and its derivatives have particular chemical structure,which make them posses some parti- cular properties in the physics, chemistry and comprehensive application in many fields such as biology, medicine and microbiology and so on. This paper aims at synthesizing some novel ferrocene derivatives to study their properties of electroche- mistry and their potential application.Firstly, thirteen complexes including monoferrocenyl isoxazole derivatives and bisferrocenyl isoxazole derivatives were synthesized via 1,3-dipole cycloaddition reaction of nitrile oxides and ethynylferrocene derived from ferrocene. They were thoroughly characterized by 1HNMR, FT-IR, and mass spectroscopy. The structures of (η5-C5H5)Fe(η5-C5H4)C3HNOC6H4CH3 and (η5-C5H5)Fe(η5-C5H4)C3HNOC6H4C3HNO(η5-C5H5)Fe(η5-C5H4) have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction method. The electrochemical behaviors of the synthesized ferrocenyl-isoxazole derivatives have also been studied.Then, three new complexes that ferrocenyl and isoxazole were linked by alkyne bridge were synthesized via Sonogashira reaction. They were characterized by 1HNMR. The electrochemical and photochemical behaviors of one of the synthesized derivatives have also been studied. Other data and their related tests are in progress.
