This subject is a technology cooperative project between institute of solid state physics chniese Academy of sciences and Changzhou Worldbest Radici Co., Ltd. ,it is focus on how to modify the PET performance by utilizing the advantages of power research at institute of solid state physics and the production experiences of Worldbest Radici. PET has gradually become a fastest rising resin at the packing industry in the world, because of its excellent integrate performances, thereinto bottle grade PET goes up the most rapidly. But the barrier of PET is common, not enough for a special packing contents (eg. Beer), limited the scope of applications. In order to fully utilize PET's advantages and solve the lacks of high barrier at the same time, this subject applies itself to research the technology and methods on modifying PET barrier and crystal performances. The crystallization properties of PET/montmorillonite has been investigated by DCS, at the same time use oxygen permeance ratio to measure the influences by different content quantities montmorillonite to PET barriers. It is show that montmorillonite acts as the nucleating agent in PET crystallization processes, and complicates the process .the crystallization propertie are different between PET polymerize and PET blend. The crystal speed of PET blend is far bigger than the same proportion of PET polymerize. The org-modified agent take part in polycondensation of PET in polymer -ization process, and special structur is propitious to nucleation but prohibits the growth of PET crystallite. The crystallization tate depends on amout of montmorillonite for both kind of samples.PET film oxygen permeance ratio is dropped after crystallization through drawing tropism, modified the barrier performance.
