It is very important for environmental protection work to protect the environment of the drinking water source region. Whether do environmental protection of the drinking water source region well or not, concerns the people' s life health directly, concerns the normal and persistent developing of national economy, concerns the stability of society. Do environmental protection of the drinking water source region well is of important meaning.However, along with the increasing of population, the fast developing of economy, the enlargement of tourism, and the deficiency of the constructing of supporting facilities, the water body of the drinking water source region in Laoshan district has been suffering pollution to a certain degree, and the water quality has presented the trend of worsening.This article is based on the investigating and researching on the spot, aims at the current pollution situation of the drinking water source region in Laoshan district, evaluates its current environmental quality, predicts its varying trend of pollution and calculates its water environmental capacity according to relational mathematical model, and then finds the problems in aspect of environmental protection of the drinking water source region, gives the advice of curing the pollution.Considering the actual condition of the drinking water source region in Laoshan district, this article pay attention to studying the pollution situation of the earth-face water, and choose Zhangcun river and Dashicun reservoir as the present of river and respectively to analyze.
