| Antibiotic wastewater is one kind of industrial wastewaters hard to dispose. Many researches on the pharmaceutical wastewater of The General Pharmaceutical Factory of Harbin Pharmaceutical Group have been performed, and the results indicate that flocculation techniques by add materials in prophase pretreatment can reduce the COD value 25%-30%. The procedure is direct and effect, furthermore, it can save lots of money and can ease the burden of solution.Polyacrylamide (PAM) 6070 is the final floc we get after filter. PAM is helpful to remove COD, and has higher velocity of floc formation and sedimentation, and the floc is not easier to break. The effects of the dosage, pH and the time of stirring and setting on flocculation for the wastewater were investigated.PAM is good at reduce the articles in solution, and shorten the time of sedimentation, but it is not good when add more PAM because that over PAM will increase the COD value.Thirty seconds is the best time of sedimentation, and if the time shorter than 30s, it is not completely floc, if longer, the flocculation will be broken. The adding of setting time enhances the removal rate of COD, but we chose 90 minutes for sedimentation for the actual required.The research demonstrated that PAM6070 has good effect on treatment of pharmaceutical wastewater in The General Pharmaceutical Factory of Harbin Pharmaceutical Group. Meanwhile, we have analyzed the factors which influence flocculation on the same conditions. |
