Our country paper industry development is facing the shortage of energy , the textile fiber resources, and more serious environmental pollution ,thus many studies have been conducted to the new pulping technology of high yield, lower energy consumption and lower pollution. The Chemical pretreatment Explosion Pulping (CEP) technology has the advantages of high yield, high production efficiency, high fiber strength lower energy consumption and lower pollution, so it has been developed as a advanced high yield pulping technology. The main research focused on the optimal Lingnania chungii McClure CEP 's explosion process and the effect of process parameter on chemical constitutes of explosion pulp .The Lingnania chungii McClure CEP' s bleaching performance ,CEP manufacture the news print paper and the packing paper ' s performance and the characteristic of effluent were also studied. Simultaneously, the advanced analytic technology of SEM, X-ray diffraction spectrum, IR spectrum as well as CLSM were used to analyze the microcosmic of explosion pulp. The results of the research are as following:(1) Single factor test were performed to achieve the optimal explosion factor for Lingnania chungii McClureCEP, the optimal explosion factor for Lingnania chungii McClure CEP is 3.22.(2) Orthogonal test and the validate experiment were performed to achieve the optimal chemical pretreatment conditions: NaOH charge2 %, Na2SO3 charge 15%, liquor to wood ratio 1:5, holding time 120min, reaction temperature 130 ?. All of the physical index of corrugating base board made from the explosion pulp were higher than the A grade corrugating base board.
