In this paper, three novel compounds based on bipyridine were designed and synthesized. By investigating the photoelectric and thermal properties, the results showed the luminescent range of compounds is 450nm blue light region. Compounds 1 and 3 exhibited remarkably thermal stability. The decomposition temperature of compounds 1 and 3 are at above 360℃ as determined by TG-DTA. So they might be potential candidates for blue light-emitting materials. The chain of OPV can be controlled. By introduction of electron-withdrawing groups and electron-donor groups in chain, the author obtains intra-molecular charge transfer materials. In this paper by chemical modification in OPV backbone, three novel intra-molecular charge transfer red materials were obtained to figure out the shortage of red light-emitting materials. There are two amorphous among synthesized compounds. Compounds 4 and 6 exhibited remarkably thermal stability and the temperature of 5% loss weight are above 300℃. Their luminescent range is at 590nm near red light region and will be desirable red doped materials. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Organic Electroluminescent Device, Bipyridine Derivatives, Photoelectric Property, Thermal Property, Oligomeric Phenylenevinylene, Intra-molecular Charge Transfer | | Related items |
