In this paper, it was studied in pilot-scale that the feasibility and of the novel biofilm anaerobic-anoxic-aerobic-aerobic system treating of coke plant wastewater and Technology Characteristics of Anoxic Reactor. Anoxic-reactor was full of ceramsite packing media, whose diameter was about 3-7mm.The results of research of Anoxic-reactor process were as follows: the anoxic-reactor, once six months, was backwashing twice totally to meet the needs of biofilm updating and resolve the problem of packing media clogging. Nitrogen, which produced by denitrification, can release by itself, nitrogen release cycle is unnecessary. Compared with suspended growth system, the anoxic-reactor had higher shock loading resistance and it can run steadily when influent NH3-N concentration was over 400mg/L and COD was above 3000mg/L.Even if the system was stopped for 57 days, the recovering time would be unnecessary and it could run...
