With the development of plating,leather,melt,acid bath and so on,the quantity of waster water contains heavy metal Cr(VI is increasing.The environment has being become worse and worse seriously,people will lead to cancer by drinking water contains Cr(VI),How to father water contained heavy metal Cr(VI)has been listed the priority to take into account by the government.Fly ash is one of the most byproduct, but the utilization level and utilization degree is not satisfied. Coal will not be completely substituted by other energy sources in our country, the amount of Fly ash will be increased in many years.In recent years, the utilization of fly ash have been made a progress because of recognition by our government, while the utilization rate is no more than 50%, a large amount of fly ash not only pollute environment but also take up many lands, hence ,it is a trial problem that how to utilize the large amount of Fly ash.The fly ash is a particle posses some activation, fly ash have some absorption ability too.The utilization rate of fly ash to treat wastewater is increased in recent years, we have achieved some achievements during the course of utilization of fly ash,the utilization of fly ash to treat wasterwater have engendered a recycle of making use of waste to dispose waste,because of the limitation of absorption, the fly ash will be have to modify to increase its absorption.Fly ash will be modified by calcining in the study, fly ash and calcium oxide will be mixed in define proportion(The proportion of fly ash and calcium oxide is 1:1,1:2,1:3).The proportion of fly ash and calcium oxide will be individually calcine in 800℃,900℃,1000℃.The time of calcining is respective three hours,four hours and five hours.The modified fly ash is used to treat wastewater of chrome,the result of treatmemt is very good,which is come up to active carbon,the special ratio area and the porosity of fly ash is inscreaed by modification.It is show that the ability of absorption of fly ash is increased with the increasement of temperature when the proportion of fly ash and calcium is fixed, the ability of absorption of fly ash is increased with the increasement of rate of Fly ash versus calcium oxide when the temperature is fixed.The best effection of disposing of wasterwate is attained when the rate of Fly ash versus calcium is 1:1,the temperature is 1000℃The radiate modification have been studied simply in the study too.
