This project is subsidized by Tianjin Petrochemical Corporation. Through researching on the systems for wastewater's deeply treatment, we have analyzed the fouling substances in Micro filtration (MF) and Reverse osmosis (RO) systems and proposed some new methods for determination and disposal. The obtained datas can be regarded as the basis for pretreating the wastewater from the petrochemical plant. In order to reuse wastewater efficiently and protect water resource, several large-scale petrochemical plants apply the technology of membrane separation to wastewater treatment, such as MF and RO. However, silica, aluminum and some other substances in stuff water can cause membrane fouling and damage, and then reduce work efficiency severely and hold up the popularization of membrane separation. Therefore, it is very important to analyze and pretreat the fouling substances properly in time.A new method was developed for the determination of reactive silica based on the system of methylene blue (MB)-molybdosilicate (SiMo)-polyglycol octylphenyl ether (OP). In the presence of 0.08mol·L-1 H2SO4 medium (pH=0.77) and nonionic surfactant OP, MB can react with SiMo to form an ion-associate. The molar absorptivity of the ion-associate was 1.74×105 L·mol-1 ·cm-1 at 595 ran. Beer's law was obeyed in the range of 00.24μg·mL-1 SiO2. Also, a spectrophotometric...
