Among all the heterocyclic compounds, the heterocyclic compounds with nitrogen atom are one of the most important kinds. And among the nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds, the research of pyrazole and heterocyclic amides are two fields with the fastest developing speed lately.Organometallic pyrazoles and heterocyclic amides are two important ligands. They have not only various reactivities and plentiful structural chemistry but also important applications in the fields of biology, pharmacology, pesticide, catalysis and materials science.The most valuable application of organometallic pyrazoles and heterocyclic amides lies in its use in the molecule recognition including the metal ion recognition as well as the anion. The research of preparing the new type of organometallic pyrazoles and heterocyclic amides will afford the novel idea and theoretical basis to the development of new receptors in supramolecular chemistry.To more enrich syntheses of organometallic pyrazoles, and explore the syntheses of heterocyclic amides, we initiated the studies on syntheses and properties of ferrocene-containing organometallic ligands—substitutional pyrazole and heterocyclic amides and their metal complexes, making a series of significant and creative developments.
