Non-point pollution (NPS) contains many pollutants such as BOD, COD, TSS and toxic which is generated by erosion during stormwater. As an important water supply source in Shenzhen, mitigating pollutant impact is the most important task for the management department. The effective management of water quantity and quality is very important in urban watersheds management. Stormwater management requires the implementation of "Best Management Practices" (BMPs) .According to the Xikeng reservoir's topography, a BMPs system including Dentation pond, wetland, berm, and buffer strip is designed, built and tested. The result has proved that it can well handle the Non—point pollutant to the modest level. The calibrated model which is especially programmed for the small scale watershe is used to simulate pollution transport, decay and fate processing within BMPs system.
