The research is to utilize the Yunnan Mile brown coal as the raw material, adopting medium and low temperature carbonization treatment, eliminating most of water and volatile component, then semi-coke is received. We studied forming process of lignite semi-coke and obtained moulded coke which used in ferroalloy plan. The problem of pollutant from burning the young brown coal is resolved radically, and it makes YunNan's predominance of rich brown coal resource reinforce, by this way the precious coking coal and charcoal resource are thrifted.The purpose of this research is that find out the best result of carbonization and moulded technological conditions, obtained moulded coke which used in ferroalloy plan. This experiment is comprised of six parts: (1)Find out the optimum carbonization technologic conditions (2)Find out the optimum moulded technologic conditions (3)Design industrial vertical retort (4)By-product comprehensive utilization (5)Obtained technical-and-economic indexes which used in lignite semi-coke industrial design, made techno-economic appraisal for the process. (6)Environmental evaluation is made in industrial process.The optimum carbonization technologic conditions and lignite semi-coke is received by means of comparing the carbon content of the char at different final temperature and through different carbonization time term. The char is crushed to less than 3mm, then intensive mixing with humic acid sodium in different mixture ration. We mould the mix material though Y30C-6.3 hydraulic machine which pressure is 10MPa. Testing Cooling strength, Thermal stability, Shatter index. Specific resistance of moulded coke of different proportioning after more than 4 hours in 100-110℃ dry box or 7days latter in the air. Though the research and all indexes of moulded coke we find out the optimum carbonization and moulded technologic conditions: carbonated temperature is 800℃;time is a hour;humic acid sodium is over 8%. Then properties of the product are as follow: Fc.d% is 70.74%;Cooling strength is over 2050N/a;Thermal stability(>13mm) is over 95%;Shatter index(>13mm) is over 90.2%;Specific resistance is over 5 × 10~4Ω.mm~2 /m.The paper have introduced the utilization and treatment of semi-coke and coal tar. Having made a techno-economic appraisal and environmental evaluation for industrial process also.In the industrial experimentation the scale of production, which is to treat with the raw material of the brown coal, is 50 thousand ton per year. The production of lignite char and coal tar are separately up to 10, 1 thousand ton per year. The general capital put in this item adds up to 5.60 millions RAM. The income of goods sold 7.20 millions RAM, The tax for country or local is total 6.3408 million RAM, income tax 2.1095 million RAM in a decade of economic life. Profit-investment ratio is 21.35%. the profit rate is 36.44%, the profit ratio of goods sold is 17.30%. the ratio of cost profit margin is 24.54%, the payback investment period without paying tax is 2.74 years and 4.68 years after paying tax. According to these economic indexes that have been mentioned above, the item's status of economy things will be all right in operation. It will greatly contribute to the development of country and local.
