Object: Through the study on the preparation processs, quality and stability of Keyin Ointmet, we obtained a new drug superior to the former one in process, quality and stability and established the basis to apply for new medicine.Method: (Dprocess research: Used the mono-factor experiment and procedure orthogonall design to optimize extracting technique of Keyin Ointment. Used the index of stability to select the bases of Keyin Ointment. Used the cumulative amount and the constants of percutaneous absorption to select the concentrations of azone. Used the the content of baicalin and berberine to select the anti-oxidant. (2) quality research: Identified Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. and Phellodendron amurense Rupr. in Keyin ointment by TLC. Determined the content of baicalin in Keyin ointment by HPLC. (3) stability investingation: Determined Keyin Ointment by relevant rules of Ointment according to Chinese pharmacyopoeia. Observed its stability during six minths.Result: â‘  process research: The optimal conditions of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi. is with an amount of 8 times of water for 1 hour and 3 times of extractions, the extracting grate of baicalin can reach higher content. Then, condense the extraction solution to 1:2 and add alcohol to make contain alcohol attain to 60%. The optimal conditions of Phellodendron amurense Rupr. is with an amount of 8 times of 75% alcohol for 1 hour and 3 times of extractions.
