| This study is purposed to develop a new glass mould rapid foundry by combining theSLA rapid prototyping and fuse foundry, finite analysis, electric spark machiningtechnology etc .In the course of free forms glass mould, at first, the data can be got from the sample tothe object model on the coordinate measuring machine, the accuracy can attain the 3 μ ms.the collected ordinal data is used to sculpt shape by three-dimensional software PRO/E.and then the high precision resinic prototype can be got by rapid prototype, the resinicprototype acquires the high accuracy dimension, smooth-faced, short time and low cost.Second we empolder using SL prototypes to make electric spark machining's electrode, thefinite element method is applied to the process. It can effectively prevent the shell crack,and offer the gist for the preparation of shell. The third, the core of mold roughcast is madeusing gesso and colophony and using roughcast's wooden model with a middle hole tomake molds. So it greatly simple the technics of wooden mold and short the time.Finally,the application of electric spark machining can get precision smooth mould lumen. Thisprocess has wide application prospects for new producys' trial production featuring muchvariety and small quantity and especially for the middle and small-sized with free forms. |
