Bagasse cellulose is one of the most abundant renewable natural polymers on the earth. Modified bagasse cellulose as a kind of ion exchange adsorbent, can be adopted as one of the primary materials for developing the cellulose products that yield a high added value. This paper takes bagasse as raw material, bagasse cellulose reacted with 3-chloro-2-hydroxylpropyl-trimethylammoniun chloride after hemicellulose, lignin, sugar cane marrow and so on in bagasse being basified. During the processe, changed into cation cellulose. Then with the catalyzer Fe2+-H2O2, it reacted with methylacrylic acid and negative ions was introduced . Thus, amphoteric bagasse cellulose which links with not only quarternary ammonium ion but also carboxyl was obtained. Using the new Amphoteric bagasse cellulose, pigment matters in the sugarcane juice and kinds of non-sugar impurity can be absorded to achieve the purpose of decoloration of the suger juiceBy orthogonal experiment, the optimum technological conditions of synthesizing both cationic bagasse cellulose and anionic one. By comparasion, it was found that the cationic bagasse cellulose was prior to amphoteric bagasse cellulose to the decolor of sugar juice. In the further reseach, the optimum technological condition of cationic bagasse cellulose applied to sugarcane juice...
