This paper summarized systemically the research status of the world diesel exhaust decontamination technology and the exhaust standard of off-road diesel. The forming mechanisms, characteristics and exhaust rules of pollutants in diesel exhaust were discussed in this paper. On the basis of mentioned information and padding washing technique, we designed the diesel exhaust decontamination equipment. Through the experiment, we researched the equipment operation conditions and influence of additive concentration. The research results showed that the best liquid-gas ratio was 6:1 in the experiment of decontamination particulate matter. The wetting agent that was added made the surface tension of washing liquid lower and strengthened its ability to wet the surface of particle. The dispersant that was added strengthened the disperse ability of particle that was absorbed in the surface of washing liquid. All these improved the decontamination efficiency of particle. The decontamination efficiency can amount to 68%. The best liquid-gas ratio was 9:1 in the experiment of decontamination nitrogen oxide. Sodium carbonate that was added increased the alkalescence of washing liquid. Sodium chlorite that was added strengthened its oxidation and absorbency to nitric oxide. All these improved solubilization of nitrogen oxide in washing liquid. The decontamination efficiency can amount to 70%. The results showed that decontamination equipment can not bring great exhaust press and influence diesel running. The equipment can reduce exhaust temperature obviously.
