Five dicondensed spiropyran compounds were prepared, and determined by melting point, elemental analysis, IR spectroscope, 1HNMR spectroscope. The single crystals of these compounds were obtained by slow evaporation at room temperature and determined by CCD diffractmeter.Besides these data, some relative crystal data including SP and MC were searched from CSD and was analyzed by crystal computation. The molecular structure of DSP and packing of their crystals was discussed. According to that, the mechanism of the preparation course and the relations between the substituted groups and the properties of open and close reaction of this class compounds were put forward in this paper.By these researches, we conclude that:(1) The structures of DSP compounds were exactly confirmed.(2) The DSP crystals were packed mainly by C-H/Ï€interactions.(3) The two asymmetric centers in the crystals keep the same configuration (RR or SS in inversion-related molecules)(4) The open and close reaction of this class compounds was affected by the substituted groups and the characteristic of the ring of pyran in the molecules.
